Dr Nielsen graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (Academic Medal) from James Cook University in 2012. She achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2019. She has also obtained a Diploma in Child Health through the University of Sydney as well as completing the FPAA National Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health. She has recently completed her Graduate Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health through the University of Sydney. Dr Nielsen is also a registered prescriber of MS-2 Step (used for medical terminations).

DNA Policy. Patients who fail to attend their confirmed appointment or do not provide >2 hours notice of cancellation will be charged a non-attendance fee. Further appointments will not be offered until this fee is paid. The DNA fee is $50 for a standard appointment and $100 for a long appointment.
